DZDB was developped in 1997 on the Gap-Tallard platform. It is now used by Brienne, Vannes, Pujaut, La Ferté Bernard and more.

With the 3.0 version, the software has become more and more performing. It is now a complete product that allows you to manage any activity on a dropzone (manifest, secretarial work, sale of many different articles, club house, housing, camping) wether it is professional or associative.


Base

The software is based on cards linked to an account the offer the advantage of a clear view on funds and a detailed follow-up on all the transactions made on the platform.

It's different modules can be installed either on one machine or spread over several., according to the needs and possibilities of the DZ.

  • This module conception allows the software to be adapted to the needs of the DZ while in the meantime staying evolutive.

Main fonctions

1. Module Administration
  • Parametrage of the system.
  • Input of database references (prices, articles, altitudes, ...).
  • Follow-up on jumps.
  • Follow-up on accounts (outstanding payments, creditors, deptors ...).
  • Follow-up on payments, housing, sales...).
  • Follow-up on the use of school equipement.
  • Management of foreign currencies (including the Euro).
  • Administration of the database (creation, copy, accounts at the end of the year).
  • Management of the stock.
  • Detection and correction anomalies.

2. Module Manifest
  • Input and preparation of sticks with bar codes.
  • Statistics on number of jumps per plane, day and year.
  • Print of the pilote file, manifest and accounts.
  • Direct validation or modification of sticks.
  • Management of the altitudes, plane passages, exercises in freefall, jumprates and use of the school equipement.
  • Management of large jump accounts.
  • Verification of reserve packing, balance, validity of licences and member cards.
  • Printing of bar codes for Exercise, Rates and Altitudes.

  • Creation, modification of member, jump and team accounts.
  • Input of information on the client / jumper.
  • Credit / Debit of accounts.
  • Printing of bar codes for member cards, jump cards and team cards.
  • Printing of bills.
  • Summary of purchases, jumps, reservations., ...

4. Supplementary Module sale outlet
  • printing of bar codes for articles, cards and fixed prices.
  • Input of orders (for the keypoard or for bar codes).

The maker

Christophe Balisky is member of the French National CReW team, world champion in Australia (1994) and in Indonesia (1996). He hopes to win the title this year with the national selection in the States.

As a computer engineer he has been working for Bull, Sligos, Alcatel and Atos. Christophe uses his professional skills in combination with his passion to propose a real application to all the Dropzones.
