Freefall position

There is no unique position as you can safely freefall in any position. Still, there is a freefall position which is called the stable position. This position is taught to those who discover freefall as it is easy to learn and adopt, and because it allows you to open your canopy safely (the parachute being placed on your back). This position is also the basic position from which one starts to evolve in the three dimensions.
